Another addition to the Bay Area Summer Music Festival in 2010 is the Jazz Program! The jazz band will be modeled on standard big band instrumentation and play works ranging from classic swing standards to funk and blues. The band will be lead by Raeann Jones, assisted by Leslie Campbell of the Bay Area's award winning big band "The Baytones".
 
Possible works to be performed include:
  • Brass Machine
  • Brazil
  • Moanin'
  • Mercy, Mercy, Mercy
  • Vehicle
  • Zoot Suit Riot
The band will also benefit from side-by-side instruction from area jazz players and will share the concert with "The Baytones"!
