Congratulations to Dr. Roby G. George, 2009 Guest Conductor, for his new position as the Director of Bands at Indiana State University! Best wishes to him as he makes the move from Illinois to Indiana! 

Mark your calendars! The 2nd Bay Area Summer Music Festival will take place August 8 - 14, 2010. With the return of the Wind Ensemble and chamber music concerts (with Guest Conductor Col. Timothy W. Foley, retired Director of the "President's Own" Marine Band) along with the addition of a Jazz Band it will be a wonderful week of music making! 2009

The first Bay Area Summer Music Festival was a huge success! 30 participants representing approximately 15 different music programs and organizations took part and performed for very receptive audiences of over 100 each concert! Over $1,200 was raised in support of local school music programs and will be divided equally among those involved.

Next year, 2010, the festival will include orchestra, jazz band, and musical composition as available programs in addition to the already established wind ensemble and chamber music!
