Help Wanted! Are you interested in being involved with this program in a more permanent way? Would you like to see it continue to grow and contribute to the Mid-Michigan community? If so, please consider the following ways to help. All positions are extremely flexible and can be tailored to your specific needs, interests, and strengths. Contact Jeff Spenner to inquire further. No one man can run an entire festival on his own. The success and growth of a project like this depends upon active collaboration and co-operation. As a member of the Advisory Board, you would be very active in the creation and execution of each year's festival. Possible tasks would include artistic planning, public and community relations, support and fund raising, and advertising. You would work closely with the Music Director to ensure a quality festival that everyone can be proud of. Time commitment depends on what duties you take upon yourself as well as the nature of your own projects as they relate to the festival. Please note that with a position on the board comes a certain level of personal responsibility as well as deadlines. The purpose is to allow the Music Director to delegate authority in certain matters to achieve the maximum impact and potential possible. Festival Volunteers A music festival is only as good as its musicians, and they are in turn only as good as their supporters! Without chairs, stands, sheet music, etc., a wind ensemble isn't much of an ensemble at all! Please consider volunteering your time as a part of the supportive festival infrastructure.
